C Squared Home Builders is a Florida State registered home builder based in
Valparaiso, Florida. Our primary business is in Okaloosa and Walton counties in the
panhandle of Florida.
The owners, Ralph and Marsha Calhoun, have extensive backgrounds in project
management, engineering, design/build, financial management, and construction.
Ralph and Marsha worked for a large international engineering and construction
company prior to building our first home in 2002. Ralph worked in many diverse
areas of engineering and project management for approximately 20 years. Marsha
worked as a CPA and later as Chief Financial Officer for over 15 years of combined
experience. Ralph and Marsha work together on all projects to bring their many
years of practical and professional knowledge in their varied areas of expertise to
homebuilding. We provide daily on-site management of all jobs (not a foreman or
sub). Our daily management of all phases of construction includes close interaction
with owners using communication styles preferred by each customer.
We use smaller, local subs when appropriate. This results in more of the owners
personal attention and commitment to your job. Your job is significant to a smaller
sub's business base. Our subs are craftsmen in their own trades who do not cut
corners. Quality, cost-effectiveness, schedule compliance, and customer satisfaction
are unquestionable attributes or our Company.
We are members of the Florida Home Builders Association and the local Building
Industry Association of Okaloosa and Walton Counties (see BIA link). We are also
members of the Niceville / Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce. We require all subs
to be properly licensed and insured.
